Who we are.
A Swiss consultancy with heart and humanism — serving international clients across America and Europe. Founded in 2015 as Greenline Accelerator, refocused in 2024 as UmgangmitKI.
Why we built this firm.
The firm is the vehicle. The reason is a decade of watching the gap between what AI is doing and what institutions are ready for.
The firm's founder has spent years with applied AI in the business context — where it actually moves money and changes decisions. In parallel: a decade close to the psychology and teaching of children, including a marriage to a Swiss primary-school teacher. Knowing the machine from within and knowing how learning, trust and identity develop in a child is what shaped how we work.
We built this platform after watching the influence of generic AI on public discourse become impossible to ignore — how opinion shifts, how argumentation frameworks are taken over, how little of the conversation is left by the people in it. The pace of that drift set the pace of our firm.
We don't have ten to twenty years for clean long-term studies to catch up. Every year of delay is one year less free expression — in Switzerland and the markets we serve. The firm exists to close that gap: senior consultants who understand both the technology and the people exposed to it, available before the first academic studies arrive.
A better consultancy is possible.
Most consultancies optimise for leverage: more hours, more decks. We've picked something different — senior and junior together in small teams, with continuous training built in, and outcomes you can measure.
Being a registered non-profit — allowed to trade commercially to finance our social mission — is the condition that makes this possible. It keeps the firm small enough to care, patient enough to invest in craft, and honest enough to turn down work that doesn't fit.
That's the thesis. The clients, the people we've attracted, and the work we've been able to put our name on tell us it's working.
Our core values.
Four values. One standard. These are not posters on the wall — they're the test we apply to every engagement, every hire and every call we take.
Collaborative
We think with our clients, not at them. Senior people in the room, every meeting.
Entrepreneurial
We back our own judgment. Fast decisions, pragmatic trade-offs, bias to shipping.
Creating a legacy
Work worth doing: businesses that outlast the engagement, teams that keep improving.
Beyond expectations
Good enough isn't. We hold ourselves to the standard our best client would set.
Awards & recognition.
Independent recognition for the work and the firm.

How we work.
Senior squads. Short cycles. No handover theatre. The way of working that makes everything else possible.
Senior and junior, side by side
Seniors lead the room, juniors learn by doing — volunteering or paid roles, always paired with a senior who stays on the engagement.
Small, embedded squads
We work alongside your team until the work ships — not from a conference room.
Measurable outcomes
Every engagement ties to a business metric agreed up front. No vanity KPIs.
Independent judgment
We're a registered non-profit, trading commercially to fund our social mission — so our advice is shaped by what's right for you, not by equity exits or shareholder targets.
Craft practice
We invest in making the firm better at this — teach-ins, writing time, continuous training, apprenticeships that take juniors from first volunteer day to paid senior work.
Patient capital
We take long bets because there is no sale to optimise for. The firm is a non-profit built to last.
From Greenline Accelerator to UmgangmitKI.
Started in 2015 in Switzerland as Greenline Accelerator — a small team helping founders ship real products. A decade later, the mission is the same, applied to AI.
We began with a simple belief: that senior people, embedded in the work, outperform committees of advisors. That belief shaped how we hire, how we price, and how we talk to clients.
Over the years the engagements grew — from early-stage product work to full operating-model transformations for international organisations. The through-line stayed constant: small teams, senior people, measurable outcomes.
In 2024 we focused the firm on the single question that now shapes every boardroom: how do you actually win with AI? UmgangmitKI is that answer, built on ten years of Greenline practice.

Book our founder directly.

Typical formats
- Schools
Educational conferences, teacher training, parental information evenings. Teaching AI without undermining the actual learning work. Which rules work, which fail, what to tell parents who ask.
- Conferences
Keynotes and panel contributions on AI, digital sovereignty and the Swiss position between US and China AI. Material, evidence-based, with political courage.
- Company
Strategy workshops for responsible AI introduction, risk audits of existing AI implementations, training for executives and teams. Focus on long-term impact, not just short-term efficiency.

We hire people, not CVs.
