Insights Activation — Manufacturing
Turning years of manufacturing data into decisions the plant floor would actually act on.

Context
A manufacturer with a mature data estate, several analytics teams, and a persistent gap between what the data was telling them and what the plants were doing with it. The reports were produced; the behaviour did not change.
Challenge
The insights lived in dashboards consumed by analysts, not on the plant floor where the decisions were taken. Plant managers trusted their own experience over a dashboard they could not easily interrogate.
Approach
We shifted the delivery model. Insights were reshaped into short, actionable, context-specific prompts delivered where the decision happened — the shift briefing, the morning stand-up, the tooling-change checklist. The analysts stopped producing reports and started co-authoring decision aids with the operators.
What shifted
Plant-floor behaviour started to track the data. The analytics team's relationship with the plants shifted from "supplier of reports" to "partner in decisions" — which also changed how the plants trusted the next generation of models the team wanted to pilot.
What shifted: the insight stopped being an artefact and became part of the decision.
