Co-invest in AI startup projects — up to 49%.
UmgangmitKI is a registered Swiss non-profit. We incubate AI startup projects and open them to co-investors — up to 49% equity per project. The non-profit retains control; the commercial returns fund internships, bootcamps and social causes.
How the model works.
A commercial structure that stays accountable to a social mission — because the mission holds the controlling stake.
UmgangmitKI is a registered Swiss non-profit, allowed to trade commercially to finance its social mission. We spin up AI startup projects inside the firm — product bets we think are commercially sound and socially worth pursuing.
Each project is open to outside co-investors for up to 49% of the equity. The non-profit always retains at least 51% — control sits with the mission, not with the capital. That is the whole point.
The commercial returns from the firm's trading and the project equity we retain are not distributed as profit. They finance three things, in order: paid internships (juniors paired with seniors from day one), bootcamps for people entering AI from adjacent fields, and the broader social causes the firm supports around AI and digital sovereignty.
What investors get — and what they don't.
Clear on both sides, so there are no surprises later.
What you get
Up to 49% equity in a specific AI startup project. The upside of a focused bet, built by a senior team that has shipped applied AI for a decade.
What you don't get
Control. The non-profit retains ≥51% in every project. No investor dictates product direction, hiring, or the mission's funding priorities.
What the mission gets
The firm's commercial trading income and the non-profit's share of project returns fund paid internships, bootcamps, and the social work on AI and digital sovereignty.
